1. Who we are

Pinto Peinture is operated by Zoe Ste-Marie in Quebec. We connect customers who want a space painted with painters.

3. Information we collect

When you request a quote, we collect your name, email, phone number, the city or neighbourhood of the job, the job address if provided, the type of work, the size of the space, the desired start date and any optional notes provided with the request. If you are a painter, we also collect your profile and account information. We also collect technical browsing data (such as pages visited and device type) through cookies and analytics tools.

4. Why we collect it

• To calculate and show you a price estimate.
• To process your request and connect you with a painter.
• To manage painter accounts.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising.

5. Who we share it with

• Painters: when a painter accepts your project, we give them your name, email and phone number so they can contact you.
• Our service providers: website hosting, database, email delivery, analytics and advertising (for example, Google). Some may be located outside Quebec or Canada, so your information may be processed there.

Only we and the painter who takes your job can see the job address. We do not sell your information.

6. Your consent

By checking the consent box on the form, you agree that we may use your information for the purposes described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

7. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for 24 months, then delete or anonymize them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent. Write to us at pintopeinturemtl@gmail.com . We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and analytics tools. You can refuse or delete them in your browser settings.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. If a privacy incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

11. Complaints

If you believe your rights are not being respected, write to us. You can also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.

13. Painters

If you register as a painter, we collect your name, phone number, licence and insurance information and documents to verify that you are qualified to work. You can also provide the areas you serve and your expected rates. Only we can see this information and your documents, besides you through your own profile. We share your name and contact details with a customer only after you take their job.

14. Customer accounts

Right after requesting a quote, you can create an account by choosing a password so you can follow your requests. From your account, you can edit the job address. You can change your password and delete your account at any time; deleting it also erases your address details. Some records are kept as the law requires.
